DIY Gardener's Hand Scrub

I love Pinterest!
I am always finding great ideas on there,
and have even tried (quite) a few.

My latest Pin-craft makes a wonderful gift for a gardener.
I wanted to share this great idea with you,
in case you would like to try it out for yourself!

Even if you do not get your hands dirty,
you could make up a batch of this,
divide it into small jars, and give them as gifts.

It cleans off the dirt, moisturizes, smells delightful,
and is fairly inexpensive to make.

Supplies Needed:
Jar(s), Sugar, Hand Renewal Dish Soap
(make sure it is a moisturizing soap)

Pour sugar in the jar until it is about 3/4 full.

Add dishsoap until it reaches just below the mouth of the jar.

Stir with a knife.

The consistency should be paste-like.

Stir until it is well blended.

It smells great, and even looks yummy.
But DO NOT eat it!

Perfect!

Add a label to your jar and accessorize!

I would like to mention where I first got this idea from, and give you the link.  However, somehow I cannot locate my pin!  So if I can locate it again (or figure out why it disappeared), I will have to add the link later.  The pin I had was not even from the original creator of this idea.  So ideally, I hope to find the original source.  I will update this information later.

Pin It Now!

I'm pretty sure I used a 16 ounce jar for this.
